Frequently asked questions

Do you take insurance?

Due to the nature of our services, we are not able to accept health insurance. We want to meet you right now and insurance just won’t let us do that.

Is this really therapy?

Yes and no. The collective is run by a licensed therapist trained in many different methods, however you do not have to commit to long term care. We more so help you in this exact moment in time. We don’t have to make anything super formal.

Is this a crisis service?

NO! We are not to be used in lieu of a crisis center or emergency room. We are not equipped to handle these situations. Please text or call 988, call 911, or attend to the nearest ER if your are experiencing suicidal thoughts or thoughts of harming others.

Can I pick my therapist from the collective if I choose to keep going?

We try out best to match you with a therapist who A) has openings and B) works with your specific concerns. We’ll ask you what you’d like in a therapist, too, so we’ll definitely work together on that.

Can I really get an appointment today or tomorrow?

We really hope so! Right now, we are working on building our clientele and staff to make this happen. We ask for a bit of patience and grace while starting out. Make sure to book your appointment online to lock in your spot!

Can I come back?

100%. Some people visit us a time or two for tune ups and others want to be connected to our hand-picked therapists in the collective for long-term care. Totally your call.

What can I talk about?

Literally whatever you want! Look at our home page for a list of why most people seek us out.

How long do sessions last?

You can either book a 50 minute or 30 minute session. We suggest a 50 minute session if you’re feeling especially burdened because 30 minutes goes by rather quickly.
